Our Process

At Diane Breckenridge Interiors, our goal is to help our clients’ in creating a fabulous environment in their home surrounding them with warm, timeless and elegant interiors as a reflection of their life and style. DBI gladly offers a complimentary in-office initial consultation. We discuss the scope of your project, your expectation from a designer, and your design aesthetic.

Once agree to work together, the design process begins. Your project can include drafting of furniture plans, selections of materials and furnishings, budget discussions, and installation. It can also involve meetings with subcontractors such as painters and soft goods workrooms, and accessory shopping. Our involvement depends upon the scope and size of the project.

Once final design decisions are made we move forward with ordering. As most of the items we supply are made to order specifically for our clients. We monitor vendors and craftspersons to ensure that your project moves forward in a timely manner, always keeping the lines of communication open in order to keep you informed as to the status of your project. When ordered items arrive to our warehouse, we schedule delivery. Final stages of the process include careful placement and/or installation of your selections in your home.

Over the past years DBI has worked with projects and home of all sizes and styles. We can work within any budget and many clients come to us for just a single room, paint color selection or the perfect accessory. The reality is that great taste and style does not mean great expense.
